The Spring 2013 Recreational Soccer Season begins Saturday April 6th and continues for 8 weeks (NO games Memorial Day Weekend - 5/25-26) ending Sunday June 2nd. Register now.

Bay Oaks Storm 99 lifts State Cup |

After comeback wins in the quarterfinal and semifinal, EBU Bay Oaks Storm 99 lifted a U-13 State Cup with a 2-0 win over Cupertino-based De Anza Force in Woodland, Calif.
The final win marked the Storm’s fourth straight victory in the Gold 3 division, including a 6-2 victory over Redwood City’s Juventus SC in its final placement game.
In its quarterfinal win against Folsom’s American River Freedom, the Storm recovered from a two-goal deficit for a 3-2 win. In the
semifinal, down 1-0 at halftime, the Storm beat Santa Clara Sporting, 2-1.

Bay Oaks United 2000 Win Manteca Tournament |

Bay Oaks United 2000 won the Manteca Tournament despite missing a few players due to injuries and conflicts. The boys beat Inter Rage Academy 5-1 in the first game. In the second game they beat MVLA 4-2 and the last game of regular play they beat Stockton Flames 11-0. In the Championship game they beat Atletico Santa Rosa Chelsea 5-1. The team showed great teamwork as the main objective for this tournament was combination play and playing out of the back. The boys had a great time bonding as teammates and all players contributed to the success of the tournament. Special thank you to to Will Kalmbach for guest playing in the goal for us on Saturday.

The updated national rankings have just been released. After a successful 2012 spring and fall season U16G Bay Oaks Botafogo is ranked #1 in Northern California and #12 in the country. This team’s success is the result of dedication and commitment from all players to challenge each other in every practice and to perform in every game. During the fall season several players experienced injuries that tested the resolve of everyone on the team. All Botafogo players met the challenge to maintain the successful momentum by learning and perfecting different positions and stepping up their game!
