EBU-Bay Oaks has completed its tryouts & placements day process U9-U18 for 2013 (tryouts for U9-U14 / placement days for U15-U18) From time to time however, we have teams that have a few openings over the course of the year. The Spring 2013 Recreational Soccer Season begins Saturday April 6th and continues for 8 weeks (NO games Memorial Day Weekend - 5/25-26) ending Sunday June 2nd. Register now.

U15G Botafogo are the BEST of the BEST PDF Print E-mail

This past weekend U15G Botafogo became Champions of the 10th Annual California Premier League State Championships. This event held at UC Irvine on November 12 and 13 pitted Botafogo against the top two rated Southern California teams and the runner up from Northern California in an exclusive championship series. After a 0-0 draw against Carlsbad Elite, the girls found their grove beating LaVerne Lazers 2-0 to qualify for the championship game. Relying on sound tactics, excellent possession and disciplined defense the girls dominated Carlsbad Elite to win the final game 3-0. As the girls head to the High School soccer break  they must pause from their campaign to return to the CYSA State Championship in March.

U15G Botafogo are Champions of the California Premier League (CSSL) and #3 in the Nation! PDF Print E-mail

U15G Botafogo finished its regular league play on 11/5 with an exciting 2-1 win in PK’s over last year’s CYSA State Champions, MVLA.  This win earns U15G Botafogo the Championship of the California Premier League (CSSL) while also qualifying in the number one position to represent Northern California in the tenth Annual California Premier League State Championships. That event will be held at beautiful UC Irvine Campus November 12 and 13.  Some of the finest teams the Cal South Coast Soccer League-Premier League has to offer and are headed for a showdown with the Cal Soccer League-Premier League from CYSA North to discover which teams are the best of the best.    

 
EBU BayOaks U9 Strykers-Gold win 2011 BooFest PDF Print E-mail

The Strykers got off to a good start with a 4-0 win over Butte United Breakaway. In the second game again clamped down the defense with a 3-0 win over Novato United . The third game was filled with attacking soccer with both sides scoring 3 goals. At the end the game was tied 3-3. With two previous shutouts behind them the Strykers had amassed two more additional points which propelled them into the finals against San Juan SC Spirits. Strykers defense was tough and the team scored two goals to win 2-0 over the Spirit.

EBUSC wins national grant from Liberty Mutual PDF Print E-mail

The latest American Association of School Administrators survey from December 2010 found schools around the nation bracing for additional budget cuts yet again this coming 2011-2012 school year. Lack of funding for some programs translates to insufficient equipment and facilities in disrepair; while for some struggling families, the associated fees and equipment expenses may be too high for their children to participate.  To help address the problem head on and ease the burden on its youth athletes and their families, supporters of the East Bay United Soccer Club rallied together to earn a $2,500 grant from Liberty Mutual Insurance to fund much needed new equipment.
