EBU-Bay Oaks has completed its tryouts & placements day process U9-U18 for 2013 (tryouts for U9-U14 / placement days for U15-U18) From time to time however, we have teams that have a few openings over the course of the year. We are very excited for the season to begin. It is just around the corner, and we wanted to update you on some items for the upcoming season.

Our Philosophy

We live, eat and breathe our motto that we are The Premier Club for Player and Coach Development. This extends from our U6-U8 program to our recreation and Bay Oaks competitive programs. All of our U6-U8 and recreational coaches are volunteers. This month they attended a coach meeting and coach clinic. They have received a coaching license and attended a Positive Coaching Alliance seminar (new coaches should attend the PCA seminar Tuesday night Sept 4).

2012 CYSA STATE CHAMPIONS: U15G Bay Oaks BotafogoIn a thrilling rematch of last year’s championship game, Botafogo’s disciplined defensive play and possession oriented offense dominated MVLA Mercury in an exciting 4-1 victory in the CYSA State Championship Game in Elk Grove on April 28, 2012. Twelve months ago MVLA won the title in the final seconds of the game.    This year returning from the High School season, Botafogo made a team commitment to significantly improve their fitness, individual defensive skills and tactical execution.

Charlie Ranahan Honored as Most Improved Player by University of Washington PDF Print E-mail

 At the University of Washington Soccer Banquet last Friday, former Bay Oaks player Charlie Ranahan was presented with the Most Improved Player Award. Additionally, he was one of six players to be recognized for academic achievement and was presented with the UW Athletic Department Honor Roll Dawg Tag. Congratulations Charlie!
